Networking & Educational Meetings
Networking and educational meetings are held the second Wednesday each month at Cypress Point Country Club.
These meetings give members the
opportunity to meet once a month, enjoy breakfast together and gain valuable knowledge from guest speakers at each meeting.
The meetings
provide networking opportunities and a time to share ideas with other members.
(There is no charge to attend these meetings.)
Continuing Education Programs
Two-hour continuing education programs are conducted five times per year.
The primary purpose of continuing education meetings is to
advance professional knowledge and provide members the opportunity to obtain credits necessary to comply with professional continuing
education requirements.

available to the public on the web site.
Annual Professional Continuing Education Symposium
The annual symposium is a professional continuing education conference held once a year. This is the largest meeting in scope and size FPA Hampton Roads sponsors each year. The objective of the symposium is to provide continuing education to all financial service professionals in the area. The 2007 Symposium was held Friday, October 12 at the Norfolk Airport Hilton Hotel. Click
here for additional information about this year's program.
Member directory
Each member of the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads is included in the directory.
Each member receives a copy of the
directory and annual updates. This is an excellent networking tool.
Recruiting incentives
When a member sponsors a new member he or she receives a discount on the annual membership renewal fee.
This is a great way to reduce the
cost of membership while helping build the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads.
